Internal Communications Officer
We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer to help shape the voice of our global BirdLife Partnership - reaching thousands of dedicated individuals around the world.

Location: Cambridge, UK (hybrid working - minimum 1 day, ideally 2/3 days per week in Cambridge)
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Contract: Open-ended
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on skills/experience, plus competitive 12% pension benefit
Annual Leave: 25 days pro rata in year 1, increasing by 1 day p/a to 28 days

We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer to join our team. In this key role, you will help shape the voice of our global BirdLife Partnership - reaching thousands of dedicated individuals around the world.
Through compelling and purposeful messaging across all our internal communication channels, you will play a vital part in informing, inspiring, and uniting our diverse community, as we work towards a shared mission.

The Essentials:
- Internal communications experience and/or a relevant qualification.
- Excellent people and communication skills - whether that’s in writing, face-to-face or online - with diverse stakeholders.
- A good understanding of global environmental and conservation issues
- Solid experience working in communications, especially writing and editing to tight deadlines.
- A talent for spotting a good story and turning it into engaging content quickly - before it’s old news.
- A passion for nature, wildlife and the environment and high motivation for working in a conservation charity.
