We are looking for a Policy and Fundraising Consultant/Consultancy to support both our fundraising efforts and our policy conservation efforts for migratory birds along their flyway route.

The BirdLife Middle East Regional Office is seeking a Policy and Fundraising Consultant/Consultancy to support both our fundraising efforts and our policy conservation efforts for migratory birds along their flyway route, especially in the eastern part of the African-Eurasian Flyway.
EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:
The overall objective of this assignment is to develop, advance and provide strategic direction to the Middle East Regional Office policy agenda within the Middle East region, aligned with the global BirdLife Strategy 2022-2032. And to provide a solid basis that can stimulate sustainable regional finance mechanisms for the Middle East Regional Office. This can be through national and regional funds, development banks and private sector companies operating in the Middle East region.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with nature conservation polices and fundraising within Middle East region.
- Skilled at interpreting and presenting information clearly in both written and spoken formats.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Ability/willingness to travel within Middle East region.

- Number of person days they would be ready to provide over a 6 months period within the period of 18 months from the date of signing of the contract agreement.
- Competence/experience of the person who would be providing the service.
- Daily rate and total proposed budget, VAT excluded.
- Commitment to pursue the aforementioned objectives for the duration of the project and availability.
- Confirmation of readiness and ability to travel in Middle East for meetings and field work.
- Date when the consultant would be able to start.
