Finance and Administration Manager
We are looking for an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to lead the team responsible for maintaining the Europe and Central Asia Division’s finances.

BirdLife ECA is one of the six regional Secretariats that compose BirdLife International, the global authority on the status of bird species. Based in Brussels, it supports the European and Central Asian Partnership and is present in 47 countries including all EU Member States.
With more than 4.100 staff in Europe, 2 million members and tens of thousands of skilled
volunteers, BirdLife Europe and Central Asia, together with its national Partners, owns or manages more than 6,000 nature sites totalling 320 000 hectares.
We are looking for an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to lead the team responsible for maintaining the Europe and Central Asia Division’s finances, accounting procedures, statutory obligations and human resource administration as well as for the smooth running of the office in Brussels, working closely with the Global Operations Team.
- Location: Brussels, Belgium with the option to work a hybrid arrangement
- Contract: Permanent
- Full-time, but may consider part-time hours for the right candidate.
- Salary: Salary of EUR 5,245 gross/month
- Lunch vouchers
- Reimbursement of up to 50% of the transport expenses
- 13th Month Salary
Ideally you will have:
- Knowledge of Belgian accountancy law
- Experience in finance and leading teams
- Ability to make sense of complexity and communicate with clarity
- Fluency in English, and French would be desirable
- Understanding of culture, experience of or desire to work for a non-governmental organisation.
